This website saw the light of day when two groups of people, both with talents a plenty, started battling for the greater visual good. At one point, some of them (noctos from LPF, Mr. Goap & Dolores from VX) joined forces to create a company film for CEgO, Centrum voor Ervaringsgericht Onderwijs. Originally we weren't too hot with the result, but now, with post-production almost finished, we are very pleased and would like to share it with the rest of you.

Due to bandwidth issues on the VX-site, we've uploaded a Flash-version of the movie, thus the quality isn't top-notch. This is just so you guys can have a quick peak and tease you long enough until we upload a proper quicktime-version.

Don't forget to turn on your speakers or put them headphones on. The CEgO soundtrack has been made by our favorite you-know-who's.

No we're not the next Max Payne but arrogance is good, so Alan Wake be careful. Be very careful. We are thieves in the night and no Deep Throat can stop us (well okay maybe Linda can but ssst you didn't hear this from me).

Anyway, our press agent forwarded me this message and since I'm such a good samaritan, I'll let you all in on it too:

As of June 2005, Lazy Pixel Front has finished a demo prototype intended for internal use. The results were satisfying and they are now even more committed to developing a fully-featured professional demo which should meet the industry’s gaming standard.

Every Lazy Pixel department is at the moment doing its part. The writers are currently working on the dialogue, the programming team is fixing and extending the camera system and the concept artists are drawing as fast as they can, so the animation department can get going.

So I keep checking in on the vxwars to find only the sullen faces of the LPF to crack up my day. No new posts, no new comments, nothing, nada, zip. Eventhough some little bird told me the LPF had a meeting over the weekend. Has the well ran dry my dear Pixels?
Not that we here at vx should be rubbing it in, we have been, as we are called from time to time, procrastinating bullshitters. But only for the outside world. We, The Expeditioners, have been occupied with raking in cash doing site's for shrimps (we will not hang out dirty laundry), making shortfilms, education (both on the receiving and giving end) and of course, pleasing the ladies, because yes, we do live a Hefneresque life. So next time we manage to get out of the grotto and whip our smokingjackets on, we'll think about posting some news on Untitled. Untill then, we wish you a pleasant night with a nice Brandy, the drink or the girl, it's all good.

You're asking yourself how come noone's updating here?

The Lazy Bastards are actually being somewhat lazy again. Well, at least the people in charge of posting here. There's quite some programming going on behind the scenes but that's far from portfolio ready. We will post some new artwork pics though in the next weeks or at least we should.

We haven't heard anything from VX anymore. We heard they have developed a rather contagious tequila disease and a concerning interest in members of the opposite sex. We would like the council to take note we strongly object to these shocking affairs. They are a disgrace to our profession and we believe VX is only smoke and no grenades.
